You Need To Know Your Role In a Relationship
Inspired by the indie film, ‘She Sexy’
Indie films can be very engrossing. After nearly two or three hours, you feel as if you are one of the characters in the plot. It can be gripping. Yes, the budget is not stellar and there can be audio issues, but some of them can be REALLY good.
For example, this weekend I watched(not the whole thing), She Sexy, which is about a romance novelist who loses sight on what is real and what is fantasy. The main character, a gorgeous Nubian woman with a big afro is being chased by some guy who probably wants to r — her and the Novelist who lives in the complex rescues her.
What is interesting is he is working on a novel and he falls for the lady he is writing about and somehow his infatuation translates to the real world. But the Nubian woman is not looking for love, she takes things slow with him even though he woos her over and over.
Eventually, she gives in and that is when she learns an awful truth: He may look like a god and screw like a demon…
But he doesn’t TRULY love her.
Some of the story I missed, but my husband who is a bigger fan than I am of Indie films, caught on to the fact that the novelist has an ex who he still thinks about. Sure Ms. Nubian is highly attractive but…
