This is why Shallow Hal is such a great movie. My husband and I absolutely love the film and see it as today's truth.

People believe they are free thinkers because they choose a "skinny" person, when in actuality they do not realize that they have been Programmed to only want that; as you've so aptly put: "People find themselves divorced at any size too."

The funny thing is, if you look at who some men cheat with, their mistresses(sometimes) look nothing like the wife. They tend to be different shapes and shades. Meaning skinny doesn't mean you'll get a quality man. I miss my days of being 125lbs. and able to just jump in any clothing, by the way, but the guys back then were trash still.
