As I have to tell commenters on my platform all the time- each time they open their mouths they prove my point.

I have no general problem with the Asians, Whites or others, but when I pointed that out that the Peter Liang Case showed their true colors as a collective that year, one of them kept combating me in the comment section.

Here's the thing. America's horrid truth is intermingled with Black History whether we all like it or not. As children, American History has been shoved down our throats while us and other POC had to sit and endure just a small intro to the Trail of Tears or hear that we blacks did nothing but picked cotton, "talk wrong" and had Martin Luther King.

Malcom X was completely left out.

I am so grateful to the 1619 Project because instead of begging the schools to please teach the full truth, we have this gem to do so. Thank you for your article.
