Wonderful article! I think you hit the nail on the head. I’d say in your thirties, you are finally learning what your skills could possibly be. In my teens and twenties, I thought I wanted to be a teacher; I subbed for a while but now I know for sure I wouldn’t want that life, or prefer to tutor.

The part about friendships is so true. I thought I had besties but after learning they could not be depended on and basically left me hanging after I got married, I was like “ Whatever” since then I have found true friendships.
