Lately, I’ve read heartfelt articles from Medium writers who just can’t seem to get into publication. I am new here, so please don’t take my words as EXPERT advice. This is only what I have noticed for myself and how I am getting into some publications.

Are you choosing publications wisely?
When I began writing, I did not think I could get into publication.
Well, I was only thinking of writing. All of those publication challenges and such was not on my radar, so I just wrote and published my own work.
Then, this past September, a publication was calling all writers to write about a certain event and I was all in. So, for me, it was all about timing and I earned quite a bit from that article. The traffic was heavy because it was a Nationally recognized day.
