If I Ain't Readin'

What people FAIL to understand is that when the world tells others that a certain group of people can't feel pain, or when that group have to watch their husbands die or their children being ripped away or fast forward to the present: we are told we are NOT the standard of beauty and that our resilience is TOO much for them, it causes MOST Black Women to be hard as iron sometimes.

Enduring the pain and crying all the time, is not an option unless you have enough tissue to last a million years.

I do get that SOME Black women need to tone it down a notch. They have not been through anything enough to constantly have a BAD attitude. It's to the point that even I as a Black woman never wanted to work around them anymore due to my negative experiences. Yet as humans we should be careful of judging anyone so harshly or in general terms.

Great article! Love it!
