What I Am Not Doing In 2023 And Beyond
What I hope to adjust
The year 2022 was full of sorrow, some joys, but mostly foolishness on the internet.
Here is what I ain’t gonna do.
Race politics
What I will try not to do, is engage with “back and forths” on my blog. In the past I said, “difference of opinion is welcome” — however, I am changing that.
Difference of opinion to me, will mean when it comes to how Blacks are mistreated — there is no “middle ground” or “gray areas”. What are we debating about exactly?
Your behind will be “swept to Blockville” instantly because you already know Black history and what Blacks go through daily. Let’s not pretend, and I am not educating you.
We’re not educating grown folks no more in 2023.
Instead, I will continue to educate myself about my own people and see what I can do to uplift myself, my home, and my own communities.
Social media addictions
I hope I can take my own advice(hehe!).
Please. Get off the social media diet. It’s toxic! It also breeds envy, which is what I am studying now. You wouldn’t believe the stuff I have found out about social media and the “gotta have it” culture. I may save that for another…
