I made a Swell podcast last week, explaining why I believe we do not receive the miraculous help we look forward to in this world. I made the bold statement that, “We are the answers to someone else’s prayer.” This is based on logic and common sense. The basis for my reasoning lies in the power we were already given. We help ourselves, so aren’t we able to help others?

Or do we turn from them and pray to God to help?

I gave the example of homelessness and hunger.
