Variation/Variant

A Poem

What a strange time this is-
Chloe busts her gams open
In pink winks making
The men blush, turning
Us all to stone

Covid took a backseat
So Variant can drive
The debate on Vax
And we Doom scroll
Over and over because
We are empty shells
Needing info
Needing entertainment
Needing to be restrained
From our nightmares
Of no stimulus to stimulate last
Year’s mood,

Daymares of returning to the
Hell we thought we
Left forever.
The entrepreneurial spirit
Was ephemeral
As we realized the simple
Life is the variation we
All needed

Since lies is now our official language, can I opt for pig latin?
