Unraveling the Thought Pattern of How I Comment

Posting a comment has become the best thing next to writing on Medium

I want to first apologize if the title is misleading.

Of course, I prefer writing my stories versus just responding. I’m a writer!

However, it hasn’t been a year yet since I’ve been on Medium, and already I find that commenting is one of the most important aspects of writing.

Commenting is feedback. Writers LOVE feedback.

There was a time of course, where I did not write for feedback, mostly because I was just “purging” thoughts from my head. Once I finished writing in my journal, my words never broke free to see the light of day. Those words are still behind closed doors and will NEVER show their gruesomely pretty faces.

The stuff I do publish though, are a hodgepodge mix of purging but stand as models ready for critiquing, and I don’t mind the critique, just don’t troll around my words.

Here’s the thing: I’ve been meaning to write this article on how and why I comment a loooong time ago because even writing a comment is so important. Probably a little more so than giving claps(but I do give claps, lots of claps to wonderful writers).

The process of commenting
