To Those Who Are Boycotting ‘The Woman King’
Your comments are futile
Whew! I never knew I would get severe backlash for simply commenting on a video about ‘The Woman King’. It was a sincere and positive comment, however, I received scathing comments from the woke-zombie-sleepwalkers of society’s underbelly.
I’m thankful to my husband for telling me just to remain silent on these matters. He understands we can’t argue with fools. Right after he said that, his words were confirmed after reading Maxwell Jordan ‘s article on “Arguing with Donkeys” — please read it!
Rosalyn Morris wrote an amazing article, which includes her reaction to The Woman King, and she gives an awesome breakdown of who the Dahomey women truly were:
Tik Tok, YouTube, Medium and other social media sites have Blacks up in arms about why you should not see the movie. At first, I was perplexed. How can we as a people actively and passionately boycott a Black made film which is based “loosely” on history?
