Here’s why you may see more(less) depending on the winds of change
According to ThePennyMatters.com, the top content that are trending in 2023 and are hot, are cryptocurrency, money and wealth, AI writing and a few others.
What’s left out are race topics.
Talking about race on Medium is highly lucrative, financially — well, not all of the time.
Most of the time.
I was reading a brilliant essay by KourtneyNicoleWrites on the deluge of race topics popping up on Medium. Her thoughts, summed up, is that there has to be other topics we can write about like “poetry, literature, and fantasy”. She also reasons that perhaps those who obsess over race are oppressed.
I agree with half of what she stated.
It’s true that what you write about, sing about, or talk about the most, is something you are passionate about.
