This was such an engrossing read and I stand by everything you said. I may not be in my 50s yet, but I think society has a skewed vision of what women should be and we internalized it so much to the point we think something is wrong if our bodies are not youthful/immortal. It's sad that we do not expect to have ailments and guys are confused because they compare us to celebrities, false realities or someone they know or even doctors. It's time to start the real conversations on womenhood.
