This response resonates with me because my sister and I were raised by dad. We were raised by both parents until they divorced and dad took care of us very well. This whole "emasculation thing" is foreign to me for real because I grew up in a family where the men were happy to be men, but also as loving partners to their wives. Just like the wives are independent while knowing how to be dependent/loving at the same time.
