Back in the day, I read a lot of “I’ve Gone To Hell and Came Back” books. Starting with Mary K. Baxter’s Divine Revelation of Hell which became a HUGE bestseller among Christians. From there, I’ve read 23 Minutes In Hell by Bill Wiese, and other divine revelations. The difference with this news clip, is that it involves a Black man saying he temporarily died, gone to hell, and saw demons torturing people with Black music.

Gerald Johnson said that in 2016, after suffering a heart attack, he temporarily went to hell where he saw unforgettable torture of people happening down there. A nightmare he never wants to relive. That’s not what caught news outlets and readers this week though — it’s the fact that Gerald’s now-viral Tik Tok video, shows him telling us that “he thought he would go to heaven” and Black music was the torture machine of choice.

He said he saw the most horrific sights down there that he wouldn’t wish on an enemy. The demons were also using Rihanna’s “Umbrella” song to torture people and he said reportedly that “Don’t Worry Be Happy” by Bobby McFerrin was used in strange, creative ways to torture people.
