Last October, an intense itch began up my nose. My eyes watered, globs of snot kept falling, and all the while I kept thinking it has to be my bunny’s fault. Yet, I’ve had her two years with no problems — I was sneezing constantly.

What was happening?

The last time I felt this way was years ago when my eyes were turning red and I sneezed almost a thousand times a day. Lo and behold, after research, it was due to mice droppings that was in the motel. Once we changed rooms, the symptoms went away. However, years later I am presented with the same problem, and the issue could be more annoying than I thought.

Black mold is a type of fungus that like to hide in dark, moist environments. Many times, this can be seen, but other times it can be hidden.

Even though our place is clean, when I look close at a corner near the bathroom, there is dark strip of sludge(mold). Those little black specks you may see around the sink, or on different corners of the tub can be considered as mold — not dirt.

After more questions and inspecting other areas of the apartment, I realized that only our bedroom and connecting bathroom area have a problem. On the…
