This Is The Immediate Reason Why We Need Side Hustles

The era of having that one good job for life is officially over

I just completed a YouTube video about why side hustles are the new future — but truthfully it is not that new. My video/podcast is less about “how to do something” and more like a lo-fi, sit back and chill kind of deal but with nuggets of information.

Here, I want to be serious though.

Back in the day, we were told (and still are), to get a college education and a good job. Many of us have done that. Some of our parents have done that and stayed in those same jobs no matter what for 30 or 40 years.

This generation literally cannot do that. It’ll be like shooting ourselves in the foot if we think a job will last forever. The pandemic of 2020 should have taught us that businesses and jobs are just as risky, if not even more risky than striking out on your own.

Why jobs are not good to rely on totally anymore

As I mentioned above, jobs are shaky grounds and can shut down for any reason.

Lay offs.

Getting fired.
