This is so true! There is an area about half an hour or a bit more we call “ Downtown ”—that is impoverished. In fact some homes by the water, are being “ reclaimed “ by some whites with money. What’s funny is that a Black wealthy guy wanted to invest in this area— to clean it up of course but he was told “ NO”

But from what I hear, they are now rebuilding this Downtown Area in Virginia.
