There was this family we met long ago that said everything came from God including suffering— or at least understand that God is responsible for our suffering and joy. We give the devil too much credit.

To some degree, I agree.

If God is omnipresent and omnipotent then I’d like to see at least a bit more healings in this world and less cancers and less violence against children. I understand strife can make us stronger and God is not a genie— but I’m tired of the imbalance of scales…
