The only part I agree with you on is that Blacks should not be “ replacing whites” in movies. I did an article focusing on why we as Blacks need to star in OUR own fresher stories. In a sense, programs and exclusive television shows, places and spaces have been great for Blacks to excel and uplift each other. Other groups not well versed on the history of why Blacks needed these spaces and why we should focus on ourselves more and have unique stories—would do well to study our history in America. Learn about WHY we want our own stories. Learn about WHY we needed affirmative action to begin with. It was not a concept that fell from thin air I assure you.
