Let’s skip over the history of higher education and get down to why you’re really here.
Why is it that I, as a full-fledged adult, feel that she can no longer attend college?
That reason is simple —
Money.
Without money being the barrier, I would have had at least three degrees right now, and I am being generous with that number. While in high school, I imagined I would matriculate often. I dreamed of earning degrees in Psychology and Business and in my 20s I desired studying at Oxford since I love literature so much.
Eventually, I wanted to live on campus at Oxford forever, just teaching and living a literary life of writing and professing my knowledge.
I will not get there.
This is not me being a pessimist.

I am optimistic that I will for sure find a way over this, but I am not living in La La land where I will find free money hanging off trees.
The reason why I feel this way is because after glancing at my FAFSA records recently, I noticed two…
