Thank you so much for writing this article! I hear so many people make excuses for keeping weapons("rights") but no one is focused on the children and their safety. First talks should be of safety and you clearly outlined what has happened and what must occur to ensure children's safety. It is ludicrous to give a gun to a child as a gift! We saw the sad outcome of that though...
