I think you misread my entire article and I will not re-write it here , but as far as “ hearing God’s voice” I did state it was subjective because I personally believe he is active and speaks, I just NEVER heard it in the clear human sense most church folk think of.

Secondly, the weight of the world can be burdensome and the NT can be burdensome because these are acts that no one follows 100%. However, I do understand that the NT is the fulfillment of OT prophecies. That fulfillment embodies laws of the Spirit now—still different from the OT and much harder to follow.

I agree with you that the Bible should be our only go to. I do not pay attention to televangelists and pastors any more because they rarely discuss the deep things of God which the Bible encourages us to do.
