I agree that the ones who are "strong and tough" are typical-- like the cow wranglers, martial artists, etc. or even boxers like Laila Ali(Laila has a stunning face and so she has a good balance of strength and beauty).

I'm guessing "strong" would mean someone who can weather most storms. Black women tend to do that very well overall. There are women of all races who can weather storms, but Black women definitely have to have a special inner power to make it in the U.S.

I, too, can't stand movies where we(Black women) have bad attitudes. I'm not a "bad attitude" type of woman, so I'd like to see more sultry ones, nerdy ones, shy ones on television.
