To kick off my reading challenge for the year, I read and finished Taylor Vaughn’s Alien Overlords series. All . Three. Novels.
This is not a genre I typically read– trust and believe me. This year I wanted to read something vastly new and vastly strange.
That category is Erotica/Science Fiction. Just what the heck did I get myself into? But I was pleasantly surprised. Not by the humping in space, although that was out of this world, but something else deeper and much more intriguing.
The backstory of ‘Alien Overlords’
There are three books in this series:
- His To Claim
- His To Steal
- His To Keep
In this series’ world, women are born with one duty and one duty only: to become breeders for a dying Xalthurian population.
Yeah, I’m sure you’ve seen titles similar to this one, but hold on. It gets a bit interesting.
