Words are gods.
They can seduce, cause your adrenaline to escalate, or a trigger word can place you in a deep, cavernous depression, a scathing term can turn sister against sister, brother against brother.
Words, if used with extreme care and with heart, can heal someone on a terribly bad day.
Words coupled with wisdom is the sharpest sword ever and can birth a revolution. I was listening to Dr. Umar Johnson, and he mentioned that guns win wars but the “tongue births revolutions.”
In the Tupac movie, Afeni Shakur warns her rapper son that “the government is not going to come at you for physically killing anyone, it’s the words that come out of your mouth they’ll get you for.”
