Statista is not a fully trustworthy site and is run by Media site aggregators. When I try to check the source, it tells me to pay additional money.

However, it does say this, and I quote:

"In 2020, there were 1,021 fatal police shootings, and in 2019 there were 999 fatal shootings. Additionally, the rate of fatal police shootings among Black Americans was much higher than that for any other ethnicity, standing at 37 fatal shootings per million of the population as of November 2021."

The idea here is that I am not saying white people do not get shot by cops at all. That would be pretty general, but the rate is far higher for blacks.
