So sorry you experienced that!

I remember a site called DogPile I think. They did the exact same thing to me in 2018. I sent in my ssn, tax forms, passed their tests and then I was given a simple article to write for $12 or $20.. I forgot. Next thing I know, I receive a message that my account will be locked and “ if I defame their name in any way, I will be held responsible.”

I didn’t care. I wrote about them on my Wordpress blog and demanded them to shred my information. I was heated for a few days over that😡
