So far I only publish with the small publications, but the one that got me the most exposure once, never accepted any articles from me again. Even now, the “medium sized” publications are taking longer to publish my work.

However, the articles I’ve self published have been doing way better than those I submitted to publication. Publishing work ourselves will always be the way to go. Nice article!
