One thing about America that is going to be true — is that it is largely ran off the backs of the hardworking person. No matter how hardworking you are, you may still fall behind in bills. Trust me. I understand.

This post is not a magic wand with quick, magical answers, but it is the truth about the places I’ve tried to get help from with rent and other bills — I want you to have some help too.

Let’s check it out.

Deferit

This site has been around a few years, and claims to be able to pay all bills in full. You just have to pay it back in 4 installments (many places are like this now).

Pros

  • You can access this from your PC or mobile phone.
  • The site is super easy to use.
  • You simply upload your bill.
  • Choose the day you want Deferit to pay your bill.

Cons

  • Hidden membership fees. You think it is asking for $14.99, but when you click to pay, it says $29.98 and THEN the next month, it will charge $14.99 per month.
  • Like most of these “apps” that claim to help, you will have to put down a hefty down payment…
