Should You Share Sins Of The Father With The Children?

Recently, comedian/actor/podcaster, Gary Owens got on a podcast to admit that his daughter does not even want him at her graduation. He has not seen his children in three years, according to him. Perhaps he was busy with his new mistress? Creating new families? Who knows, either way, it caused several discussions to pop off, namely, if women are right to tell the truth about their father’s philandering ways.
In 2022, the Census Bureau released sobering data about single parent homes in the U.S. and who typically leads these single parent homes:
- There are 10.9 million one parent family groups with children under 18.
- 41% were led by single fathers.
- 51% by single mothers who were never married or divorced.
I had a very enlightening discussion on Swell about this topic. I am so glad I had a variation of answers to this question so far.
