Should You Care That Your Woman Has a Higher Education Than You?
Based on a conversation with a Medium writer
In a previous article, I touched on the fact that it is imperative that women learn to be self-sufficient in case her family needs her or if she doesn’t have a family, she can rely on her own wit and education. This is perfectly okay.
However, after a back-and-forth conversation with a Medium member, I see that this topic deserves more attention. I want to shed light on a few things here.
The human hunger for knowledge
Men are not the only ones who read and thirst for knowledge. Women do too. We enjoy books. Many of us actually enjoy science. Many of us are doctors and lawyers, teachers, chefs, librarians, etc.
We like to use the neurons in our brains too. A shame to waste them.
Telling a woman, she cannot get a degree or achieve a higher degree than you show that you are callous and not in touch with humanity. It is still possible for a woman to be feminine and smart at the same darn time.
