Should You Be A Wife… Before You’re A Wife?
Relationship advice for those considering long term relationship goals
This is a question that has been asked in many shapes and forms in the last year or so. In a recent YouTube short, a young man says,
“Are you telling me I have to make you my wife, before you start doing wifely duties?”
He then asks her,
“Why do you want to marry me?”
She responds: “Because you are a provider, a great guy…” To which the young man says, “Thank you. I love you too, but do you see that all of those qualities are me? I am that kind of person.”
Some of you may be nodding your head to this. I admit. I nodded my head too, because what she said about him means he has positive qualities — we will return to this idea later.
