Should We Be Thinking Of Going To Mars Right Now?

We still have unsolved Earth troubles to deal with, are we ready for Mars?

I’ve been thinking.

Do we really need to forgo this blue planet and go to straight to God of War’s red planet? I mean, I feel we have so much unsolved here.

Going to another planet has been a dream of mine as I loved learning about stars, the birth of stars, black holes and such- but to actually pull the Star Trek?

It bothers me.

In Michio Kaku’s The Future of Humanity, Kaku theorizes that traveling to Mars to live is ideal.

The grand history of life on Earth shows that faced with a hostile environment, organisms inevitably meet one of three fates. They can leave that environment, they can adapt to it, or they will die. …far enough into the future, we will eventually face a disaster so great that adaptation will be virtually impossible.”~ Kaku Michio 2018, The Future of Humanity, Doubleday

Michio Kaku’s book is about our impending doom, maybe a few years from now. Maybe 100 years from now. The one solution to that — is space travel. I will review his book more in depth another time, but for now just understand that there are other scientists like him who see space travel as the answer…
