A Black Youtuber did admit that it was perhaps her lighter skin that has protected her from "stare-isms" and little "mishaps" and "mistakes" that Blacks typically face and she was very honest that darker toned Black people experience prejudice/racism in Asia and other places. We must remember that fair skin is still seen as most acceptable above all. I've heard positive stories from people who live in Japan and know of a few personally who are doing extremely well there and love it. I do also hear of some seriously negative experiences too.
