Old School Tips That Helped Me Make the Honor Roll Back in the Day
A trip down memory lane reveals helpful gems to use for life
It’s that time of year and school has started up again. I can’t help but become nostalgic when I smell the scent of Summer turning slowly to Fall, or hearing the buzzing of insects outside at night and that slight chill in the air promising more school memories.
Some memories I’d rather forget.
Some memories are what I hold on to because it was a time of hardship, friendship, and relationships. However, what surprises me is the fact that my name stayed in the newspapers consistently for making the honor roll.
No, I am not bragging.
No, I am no genius — probably far from it.
I just did a few easy no brainer tricks to understand certain material and I am happy to share these with you along with some anecdotes.
When I think all the way back to Elementary school (which is typically K-5th grade), I realize two things: One, I was not involved in too many after school activities and two, I had to get proper rest.
Sometimes too many sports involvements or after school stuff can take you away from homework and understanding assignments.
