Thank you for sharing your story about your friend. That pretty much sums up the article. Black women do not see themselves as desirable (some, not all think this way), so it is truly sad when a man does find her attractive, she thinks he is just playing around. Definitely very sad.

I have been called beautiful and I would accept it, but there were some days while I was growing up, that I did not believe it.
