Oh my goodness! Toe binding?! Sounds super painful!😬 I am glad you shared your story because I’ve read somewhere that Asians tend to have thicker hair than Blacks, hence why it’s hard to curl.

I never knew this because we are told we have tough hair as blacks but in actuality Black hair is very, very fragile and can break off very easily. Including those “edges” people tease us about sometimes.

It’s interesting to note that POC always try for the “white” looks like blonde hair/blue eyes. Even Black people try for this, and Poor Michael Jackson had extremely low self esteem according to the biopic The Jacksons(a great movie). It is sad because now I love standing out from the rest. The whole world can’t be blonde and blue eyes!😬🤪
