Not All Men Are Toxic
Welcome to another episode of “Who’s that commenter?”
Tik Tok has some amazing videos when you dig for them. I tend to review the ones about society and women issues. In one video, a man said the following (I paraphrase it a bit):
“What happened to real men of the past? Men went from this — he shows a war picture. “To this,” Cue the picture of a man wearing a dress.
He then goes on to say,
“Men used to be about excitement and adventure, now they get their dopamine dose from Netflixing and social media.”
The responses from other men were brutal.
Many of them said the guy was a joke because he was complaining about social media when he is using one to “bash” other men. Some men even went so far as to say the guy looks to be living in luxury and perhaps, he should start his own war.
Bottom line: Some men are not all about chopping wood, chasing bears, and starting wars.
I agree.
Today’s modern man shows his manliness in many other ways. In how he cares for himself and others, how he can proudly walk away from violence or use his words versus using a weapon to get his point across. Really, it takes a strong person to keep the peace.
