My husband and I both dated interracially before we met ,and we both still love our race and believe in black love.

However, I am concerned these days if this is a “ love is love thing” kind of culture or could it be a “ I need to date white because Black people can’t xyz”

Also, a lot of commercials are promoting the idea of interracial families, but we are still dealing with unfair treatment of Blacks at the same time.

I’ll say this: people should date who they want, regardless. Who truly cares?

But for the sake of this discussion, as Blacks we have to be on guard as to WHY we date who we date given history and present events.
