Money Does Bring Happiness
How long it makes you happy is based on your perspective
Money can’t buy me love.
Money doesn’t bring happiness.
You can’t serve both God and Mammon/Money.
All of the above are very true statements. There’s no way that material wealth can beat having joy in the spirit and being a kind person. Lord knows we need more kindness in this world. However, I want to help you understand why my relationship with money and how I think of it, is changing.
A tweet brought me here
Someone I follow posted a tweet ages ago that said roughly,
Money does bring happiness. Without it we are broke and unhappy”
I laughed because it was true.
All my life I said that money was wicked and having lots do not bring happiness. Yet when I look at those who are able to accumulate things and are able to do more things , they wear a smile on their face while those who were poor looked stressed. Those who were dirt poor, dug through dumpsters and the ilk of sadness and despair inked itself upon their countenance.
That’s the only reason I agreed with her tweet.
