Lots of claps for this. I've recently began publishing under my pen name for 2 reasons: Religious affiliation and my other, wilder side in writing.

As a person known for writing Christian literature, I have people who read that and prefer that, and it's is cool because that is me. But I do have an abstract, wilder, darker side that that particular audience may not like or care for, and that is cool. It isn't for them.

This article makes me realize that there are some downsides too; like exposure.
