Losing Weight Requires Mind Over Matter
Visualizing myself slimmer and healthier worked, but it required a few other things
For 10+ years I have been trying to lose weight but when I look back, I don’t think I tried hard enough(?) In fact, should I have been trying so hard?
There were times, perhaps years that I skipped working out and eating right. However, recently I had an epiphany: The two times I’ve successfully lost weight, was not when I exercised, but when I began to think inwardly.
I visualized a slimmer, healthier me.
This past week, I have received several compliments and questions ranging from:
“What happened to your stomach? It’s gone!”
To, “Erica, you’re small!”
I did not get that small, just flattened the tummy and my face and neck are a bit slimmer.
Also, I did not jump on an expensive dieting fad or something maddening like eating nothing but grass- ick!

- No matter what, drink plenty of water. I prefer Spring water over that ionized crap purified water.
