Just added this story to my Soul Journey 1k bookmark. This is such an exciting piece! I was just listening to a professor of Western and Chinese Art say that each art piece has a story behind it. We see one thing and think it's something else until we know the story.

In this case, we see that the artist is making it "plain" that these pieces are meant to get a reaction. I often wonder why we walk past homeless people too, and I'm sure there are many reasons why. I think it's because we fear it can be us. It's like a stench that can't rub off. No one wants to be without money and a home. Other times we berate the homeless person in our minds for "putting themselves" in this position of Need, and then other times it could be a harsh reminder of how cruel the world can be. Either way, it's no biggie to stop and help someone. We are people.
