It is indeed very complicated. I truly get it! I wrote an article about the complications of race, ethnicity, culture and language. As Blacks, we are identified mostly by our race but we identify closely with being American because we had no choice in where we are birthed. Much like the Biracials, we feel we belong everywhere but nowhere at the same time.
