It is a WONDERFUL time for young black girls and women these days. Movies are casting us as feminine, soft sirens, woman kings, and we’re in Wakanda Forever as queens, scientists, etc. I understand red haired white girls want representation ,but as Black women, our representation has been tarnished for centuries whether we have lived up to it or not. Right now I care ONLY about my people being represented in the media as more than thugs, whores, or basic churchgoers.
