Is ‘The Way Of The House Husband’ Worth Watching?
This anime is great if you don’t mind this one annoyance
My husband and I had the pleasure of watching Netflix’s The Way Of The Househusband. There are only 10 episodes uploaded so far and now I am going to let you know if you should watch it or don’t waste your time.
Honestly?
It is a great time waster if you are looking for a one-joke show.
What that means is in this show, Tatsu is a former Yakuza boss who applies his same skill and determination to housework. The running joke of each episode is that he may look intense and badass, but it’s all about getting that recipe down pat. It’s all about making sure the whites and color clothes are separated. It’s about that darn Tapioca.
Yes, each episode has a different plot, but the running joke between each plot, is that he is a househusband now and not a Japanese mob boss.
I was totally not ready for this show at all. When you see it offered on Netflix, you’re probably thinking that although it says “househusband” there will be some blood and gore and gangsta stuff.
