Is It Just Me, Or Has Searching For Jobs Turned Weird?

This makes job hunting ten times harder for us “small fries”

Ten or more years ago, job hunting was pretty much formulaic: apply on Careerbuilder, Monster, or the latest job board, Indeed — upload your resume, create a profile and if you need to, just visit local places and see if they are hiring. Don’t forget to dress up and have a resume and coverletter with you. However, most of us prefer to upload all the essentials and wait on a call. At what cost though? Here are current issues in job hunting I and others have experienced.

Search engines galore

Are these the only places available for work from home? I prefer working from home because at certain times of the day, I need to go potty quickly and I prefer to take my meds for my chronic illness in private and not have to raise my hand for it.

Aside from that, a popular name I see while logging on Indeed is WeLocalize.

They are hiring in every state all day. You apply to research the quality of search engines. That’s it. It’s the testing part that’s stupid to me. Sorry, I had to say it.
