Is It Better To Be Cunning To Win Or Stick To The Rules?
My response to a wonderful article by a fellow Medium writer
I just read an amazing article by Moon Bastet, which you can read here, to get some context. In a nutshell, Bastet speaks about a Black woman professor who seemed pretty fake: changing her accent around whites, wearing short bob wigs, carrying an air of fakeness about her. Only to find out that this professor was on the wrong path.
However, I read one commenter’s response to the article, and it gave me pause for concern:
This commenter could be a troll, but I wanted to highlight what they are actually saying before focusing on what this article is REALLY about.
After reading the article about the nutty professor who was a con woman, previously “busted” for money crimes, the TROLL states that the writer “misses the point”, the professor was just your everyday hustler.
