I wouldn’t tell anyone to fight. After reading your passionate words, I realize that I, too feel this way to a certain degree. I remember being so frustrated with my hair( because on top of everything else God “ blessed” us kinky hair🙄) that I said aloud around my white associate in the store, “ Ugh! I hate my Black hair!!!” It was just too much. She admitted that she is happy to have her softer hair because she is not creative enough to work with kinky coils.

The bottom line is I can’t judge you. Stay strong is all I can advise. We know what this truly about. White supremacy is the symptom of extreme jealousy and envy, to the point where we question our image. Yes, our features are GORGEOUS!! But mental Rape of nearly five centuries will slowly erode our appreciation of the Black self— not the self.
